At 43, I Achieved Abs Through Hypertrophy Training Using The Ladder App

My Journey to Body Recomposition: How Lifting Heavy Transformed My Fitness Journey

The Editor-in-Chief of Women’s Health magazine, Liz Plosser, recently shared her inspiring body recomposition journey at the age of 43. After three children and a demanding career, Liz discovered her abs for the first time last July. Her transformation was fueled by training with the Ladder app, which led to impressive results that left people asking her for advice on how she achieved it.

Liz’s fitness journey began with a background in competitive sports and various workout phases, but it wasn’t until she committed to a structured training program that she saw significant changes. Using the Ladder app, she joined teams led by top trainers and focused on strength training with kettlebells and barbells.

Through consistent workouts and a focus on progressive overload, Liz saw her muscles grow, her core strengthen, and her confidence soar. She emphasized the importance of recovery, tracking protein intake, and staying disciplined on days when motivation was lacking.

Now, at 44, Liz feels more energetic, balanced, and confident than ever. She sees weight-lifting as a tool for overall well-being and is excited to pursue new physical goals in the future. Liz’s journey serves as a reminder that fitness is a journey with ups and downs, but with dedication and the right tools, anyone can achieve their goals.
